2025 Calls for Exhibition Proposals
Submissions for our 2025 solo and small group shows in The Main Gallery at Cedar Hill Recreation and Arts Centre will be accepted between June 1 – July 31. 2024.
Individual artists, arts, culture, and community groups are invited to submit proposals for Saanich’s exhibition season between January – December 2025.
Submission Deadline: July 31. 2024

Exhibition Information Session
An information session for artists and groups looking to submit to a Saanich gallery space will be held on July 3, 2024 at the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre between 6-8pm. The purpose of this session is to provide information about our exhibition program, considerations for a well-rounded proposal and our review process. Register online through Saanich.ca. Space is limited.

Little Free Poetry Library Opens in Saanich!
Discover Planet Earth Poetry's Little Free Poetry Library to Saanich! Stop by the Cedar Hill Recreation and Arts Centre to take a book or leave a book! Watch for works by local poets within the library. The library welcomes works for adults, children and youth. Developed in partnership with Saanich Community Services and the 
Cedar Hill Recreation and Arts Centre.
The library is maintained by the Planet Earth Poetry Reading Series Society.

Arts and Culture in Saanich
Saanich facilitates a variety of opportunities for its citizens and support for artists through:
- Partnering with local artists, groups, cultural and community associations and businesses.
- Providing community arts programming, exhibition opportunities, special events, public art, and art programs at The Arts Centre at Cedar Hill.
- Contributing to the CRD Arts Development Service which provides funding to arts organizations on behalf of 8 municipalities in the capital region.
