PARKS NOTICES:

  •  Churchill Dr to the top of PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park) is closed over long weekends. 
    • Victoria Day Long Weekend - closed Friday, May 17 at 11 pm to Tuesday, May 21 at 12 pm.
  • Beckwith Water Park will be open for Victoria Day Long Weekend!  
    •   Come cool off starting Saturday, May 18 - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • To respond effectively to the growth of Pickleball, Saanich partnered with other local municipalities to develop the Pickleball Strategy for Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay and Esquimalt. The report has been published; visit the Strategy website for more information.
  • Whitehead Park at Prospect Lake - ramp closed until further notice.
  • Saanich Parks Pulling Together Volunteers recognized in Chek News segment
  • Washrooms are now open year-round at Tyndall Park Clubhouse.

Saanich Parks: where everyone belongs

  • Please enjoy our parks and trails while providing personal space to other park guests and respecting peoples' personal choices. 
  • Host an event outdoors in a park: obtain a valid permit for use of any sports field or priority use of picnic tables. 
  • If you pack it in, pack it out! Anything you bring to a park should go home with you. Please never leave trash, food containers, animal waste or other items.
