How Do I Apply

Grant Administration

All grant applications are received and administered by the Finance Department. All grant awards are approved by Saanich Council except for Community Service Provider grants and Micro grants which are approved by the Director of Finance.

Please note, more than one grant type will not be awarded for the same service, project or event.

  • Strategic Priorities Grant  (Next Intake Opens January 2025 with a new Application Form)   
    • Your grant submission package should include the following separate PDFs:
      1. Application PDF
      2. Financial Statements PDF
      3. Budget Information PDF
      4. Summary Report PDF (if 2023 grant received)
      5. Additional Information (supplemental information outside items 1 - 4)
  • Community Building Grant  (Next Intake Opens January 2025 with a new Application Form)  
    • Your grant submission package should include the following separate PDFs:
      1. Application PDF

      3. Budget Information PDF
      4. Summary Report PDF (if 2023 grant received)

Please remember to include all required documentation as outlined in the final checklist as incomplete applications will not be considered. Completed grant application packages can be submitted to:
