Notice is hereby given by The Corporation of the District of Saanich (the “District”) of its intent to contract the provision of one (1) used stock demonstration Fire Medic Emergency Medical Service (EMS) response unit as follows:

The District has chosen not to tender the contemplated Fire Medic EMS response unit for the reasons below:
- Value and Availability – This stock used/demonstration unit is available for quick delivery at a discounted price.
- Operational Consistency – This 2023 used stock demonstration Fire Medic unit has the same configuration and was built on the same cab and chassis as the current Saanich Fire Medic vehicle. This unit ensures the constancy of manufacturing and optimizes the effectiveness and efficiency of service, warranty, and parts support.
- Expertise – Safetek Emergency Vehicles possesses expertise and experience related to custom-built fire emergency vehicles and apparatus.
