The District of Saanich is seeking a Tennis Instructor to assist with the delivery of tennis programs to a wide range of ages and levels at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. This position will be responsible for teaching camps, group and private lessons for children and youth. The Instructor will also ensure that participants are acting in accordance with the facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition.
Ideal candidates will be energetic, committed, reliable and come with a friendly attitude and a love for teaching people of all ages. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change depending on program registration).
Requirements include minimum completion of Grade 10; three months experience in the area of tennis sport instruction; satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) check no older than 6 months; and must have or be able to obtain Emergency First-Aid and CPR-C.
