You're invited to our Haro Woods public event

Saanich Parks continues to collect public input to inform a management plan for Haro Woods. The management plan will contain a guiding vision for the park, supporting guidelines for its natural areas and recreational activities, and more. 

Many stakeholders, including the University of Victoria and the CRD, have been involved in the process to date. A public event held on October 1, 2016, and subsequent project advisory group meetings have identified some key values about Haro Woods. These conversations have led to a draft vision statement.

The public will next be asked to comment on the draft vision and goals, which together will establish the framework for the management plan. This event is the second of three and is scheduled for January 28, 2017.
