Information bulletin
For immediate release
Saanich, BC – The District of Saanich will celebrate BC Heritage Week this February by welcoming the public to three free activities. This year, BC Heritage Week is February 18 to 24 and focuses on the theme Heritage: The tie that binds.
A national initiative organized at the provincial level by Heritage BC, Heritage Week encourages everyone to visit the many unique places and spaces in our communities and share experiences with the world. To share information about Saanich Heritage, Saanich Archives will present a new exhibit as well as two talks in partnership with the Greater Victoria Public Library.
Building Saanich exhibit
Our shared heritage in all its forms has the power to bring people together and create a sense of belonging. Through building plans, photos, and documents, this exhibit highlights the history of development in Saanich and explores how these sites create a meaningful sense of historical continuity.

- Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
