Saanich Engineering is proud to announce that new bicycle lanes along Larchwood Drive are open and ready.

Improvements include a combination of buffered and protected bikes lanes, planted traffic islands, defined street parking, lighting upgrades, and boulevard tree plantings.

Larchwood Drive is an importance connection for Gordon Head residents to access amenities along McKenzie Ave, neighbourhood schools, and UVic.

These bike lanes are part of Saanich’s All Ages and Abilities Bicycle Spine as identified in the Active Transportation Plan.
