In-accordance with the declaration made by the federal government, the District of Saanich will observe a National Day of Mourning and a federal holiday in honour of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, September 19, 2022. This day coincides with the Queen’s funeral.

Operations at the District will be adjusted to reflect the observance of this holiday.
