Saanich, BC – In 2019, the District of Saanich acquired lands along Kings Road from BC Hydro with the intention of creating a new park.

The District is now inviting residents to participate in two public engagement events to provide early input into guiding the use of this land.

Participate

Park Vision: 6:30 – 8:30 pm – Tuesday, November 15, 2022

• This in-person event at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church (1924 Carrick Street) will begin with a presentation and will then offer residents a chance to work with professional consultants to discuss the community’s vision for the park.
• The deadline to register is November 10, 2022.

 Management Model: 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Tuesday, December 6, 2022

• This online event via Zoom will be an inclusive discussion that will help guide Saanich on the best ways to manage this new public space.
• The deadline to register is December 2, 2022.
