Saanich, BC – The District of Saanich will resurface the pavement on Wilkinson Road between Mann Avenue and Glyn Road as part of the Pavement Rehabilitation Program. Work will also include sidewalk maintenance, sidewalk improvements, and bike lanes. Construction is anticipated to start the week of April 25, 2022 and complete in early Summer 2022.

Construction Impacts

During construction you can expect crew and equipment to be on site Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Lane closures and single alternating traffic may be in effect and a delay in traffic may occur in this area during construction. We kindly ask you to follow the instructions of the traffic control and construction personnel.

Access for local residents will be maintained through the construction zone. Driveway access will be disrupted as driveways are installed. Construction personnel will communicate with residents to coordinate vehicle access.

Garbage, organics and recycling services will be maintained throughout the project.

The District of Saanich will be responsible for restoration of the construction zone and will try to minimize any inconvenience to local residents during construction.
