Saanich, BC – Bring the entire family for an afternoon filled with music, food and free activities at the much-anticipated Cadboro Bay Festival in Cadboro-Gyro Park on Sunday August 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Nestled along the breathtaking coastal beauty of Cadboro Bay, this year’s festival is evolving towards a more traditional seaside holiday picnic, and celebrating what makes the Cadboro Bay Village and Cadboro-Gyro Park unique.

Festivalgoers can expect family fun such as face painting, craft stations, information displays, and summer picnic games like three-legged races, cornhole and more! The main stage will feature four local acts playing a mixture of bluesy-pop, kids’ music, folk and rock throughout the day.

Attendees can purchase lunch from the on-site BBQ, hosted by the Saanich Lions and Chinatown Lions, or head up into the village to get lunch from a local restaurant.

“Cadboro-Gyro Park is one of the most picturesque locations in Saanich,” says Acting Senior Parks Manager Nathalie Dechaine. “We welcome all families to join us at the festival to enjoy the beautiful waterfront views while participating in the fun activities we have planned.”
