Saanich, BC – As part of our commitment to improving organizational excellence, starting today, Saanich development applications and permits can be paid for using online banking.

We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our services by offering online banking as a secure, seamless payment option to pay for permits. Previously, payments had to be made in person at the Municipal hall, the Engineering building, or at the Parks department, by cash, cheque, or debit card.

Providing a new payment option through online banking aims to reduce the need for in-person visits, and it allows staff to email permits to the applicant or their agent of record. One major bank (TD) remains pending but we expect it will be available shortly.
