Provide your feedback on Urban Forest Strategy Action Plan

Saanich, BC – The District of Saanich is offering an opportunity for public input on the latest draft of the proposed Action Plan to implement the updated draft Urban Forest Strategy.

Community members are invited to review the Action Plan and provide feedback via a questionnaire on HelloSaanich, the District’s online public engagement tool.

This renewed draft strategy will provide guidance to staff, Council and residents on managing Saanich's urban forest into the next 10 to 50 years. It acknowledges anticipated challenges and opportunities, and provides a new vision and plan for how we will respond and manage a healthy, resilient urban forest.

The draft Urban Forest Strategy will be brought to Council for consideration on August 19, 2024.

The questionnaire on the UFS Action Plan will be live until August 12, 2024 on HelloSaanich. Your feedback is important to us, and will be summarized and considered as we refine the Action Plan.
