Saanich, BC – Enjoy a fun-filled day of music, food and free activities at the Cadboro Bay Festival in Cadboro-Gyro Park on Sunday, August 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Situated along Saanich’s serene coastline, the enchanting natural beauty of the area is the showpiece of this annual festival which celebrates the unique charm of Cadboro Bay and Cadboro-Gyro Park. The event’s theme this year is ocean sustainability/ocean recreation. Vendors and non-profit booths at the event will be focusing on how we can contribute to the health of the underwater ecosystem while being able to enjoy sailing, swimming, paddleboarding and more on the water.

Festivalgoers should expect a day chock full of fun family-themed activities including craft stations, summer picnic games including three-legged races and cornhole, local vendors and non-profit booths, local live music, BBQ and food trucks, and more.

The main stage will feature local acts playing a mixture of light rock, afrobeat and folk throughout the day.

We encourage residents to access the event by bike or by taking transit. Parking nearby is limited and we remind all attendees to respect local neighbourhood parking bylaws.

A free shuttle is available continuously throughout the day between UVic parking lot #5 and the main Cadboro-Gyro parking lot.
