This recognition confirms that Saanich is a place where talented and passionate individuals want to build their careers while making a meaningful difference in our diverse community.
Saanich’s alternative work options, competitive benefits including a defined pension plan and support for new parents, and professional development opportunities are just a few reasons the District has achieved this designation once again.

This recognition is a testament to the incredible people who work for the District and I’m proud of our collective commitment to meeting and exceeding the needs of our community,” says Chief Administrative Officer Brent Reems.
With about 1,700 people employed in more than 375 types of positions across 11 locations, we’re invested in being a people-first organization. Our team of public employees takes pride in providing a high level of service to residents and enhancing their quality of life now and into the future.
