Take your planning and preparedness to the next level with our Neighbour Helping Neighbour program. After a major emergency or disaster, neighbours are your first source of help.

Neighbourhoods throughout Saanich are organizing and planning ways they can help each other. Some groups have created contact lists and arrange door-to-door checks - others have mapped resources and hazards in their area. We want to help you with your own ideas!

This guided discussion is available for groups of neighbours who have already attended the Individual and Family Preparedness Program and want to further their preparedness. Our volunteers will come to your location or we can book space for you.

Your group will learn about a structure for a neighbourhood to organize and plan for preparedness and response. This knowledge will help reduce the impact of a disaster on your neighbourhood and community.
