Our team of over 15 volunteers educate residents, businesses and organizations about the importance of preparing for emergencies or disasters. It’s one of our most important roles. Volunteers give a variety of emergency preparedness presentations.
Training
This is a great volunteer opportunity for experienced presenters, or those who wish to gain experience in presenting and public speaking. Each presenter is provided with a presentation script and opportunities for training, both in group settings or one on one.
This volunteer team meets once per month. Each meeting includes various training opportunities and/or guest speakers that support the presentation contents to ensure public education and professional development are the forefront.
