Description:

Cedar Hill Recreation Centre is seeking Building Service Workers to perform custodial care, cleaning and daily maintenance of municipal buildings and facilities. These positions require sound knowledge of custodial and maintenance procedures and experience with up-to-date cleaning methods, minor building and equipment repair, and the use, care and upkeep of the materials and equipment used.

Requirements include Grade 11 or equivalent; Building Service Worker Level 1; three months related experience; WHMIS certification valid within one year; Occupation First Aid Level I as required and a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check (PIC-VS). Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The successful candidate(s) will work varying shifts including nights, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a component of the selection process, testing will be conducted. Although we thank all applicants for applying, only those under consideration will be contacted.
