We have a new opportunity available for a permanent full time Engineering Projects Manager in the Water Resources Division. This is an exciting project engineering role that will allow you to lean into your design/construction expertise, advance your skills in contract administration and project management while also tackling the challenge of being a team leader to others in delivering capital projects.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline/field; membership as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), and six (6) years of progressive experience in a related position with a focus on capital project management, design, and construction of civil/municipal infrastructure in the Division discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

In addition, candidates must also have professional knowledge and diverse experience in the principles, methods and techniques applicable to municipal water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure design and construction, specifically in retrofit environments; act as Engineer of Record for designs prepared under their direct supervision; and lead teams in project delivery through working with consulting teams while ensuring strong partnerships with all stakeholders
