Looking for approximately 3x 3h shifts per week. Occasional weekend/evening work at special events.
Description of work/program:
The Program Leader II will be tasked with event production support with a blend of office work during business hours and on site weekend hours from end of April to the end of August (four month term).
- Under the direction and supervision of the Programmer II, duties may include:
- Coordinating with vendors, sponsors and suppliers.
- Doing inventory checks.
- Ordering supplies.
- Prepping art activities.
- Overseeing budgets and schedules.
- Other related administrative event-related duties as needed.
- Supporting event set up and strike, including meeting and directing suppliers and deliveries.
- Overseeing a small volunteer and/or staff team on event day.
- Being a designated point person in case of emergency on event day
The Program Leader II should be able to work independently, have confidence, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have good communication and customer service, the ability to take initiative and be proactive, and will be excellent at following direction.
