Description:

The District of Saanich is seeking an enthusiastic Systems Analyst II to join our innovative IT Enterprise Applications team. The key roles and responsibilities of this position are to manage and support all aspects of Enterprise software applications and all related vendor management and managed services. This includes application support and development for both on-premises and software as a service enterprise solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of an Applications team that is engaged in implementation, enhancement and support of unique and innovative software solutions; working with the business to implement solutions as per requirements, identification and resolution of technical issues and meeting tier 2/3 service level agreements.

Requirements include a University Degree or post graduate technical diploma in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology, 2 years of recent experience in application support and a valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s Licence. The ability to create solutions with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI as well as experience with JDE, Tempest, will be considered an asset. Ability to develop workflows in ServiceNow and general experience administering ServiceNow is highly desirable.  Experience rolling out and administering Microsoft SharePoint Sites with integrated applications is also desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

A technical evaluation will be part of the hiring process.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (35 hours per week).
