Yard and Garden Waste Drop-Off and Webcam
Current Yard and Garden Waste drop-off hours of operation:

Monday to Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sundays and Statutory Holidays: Closed
Please note: Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest drop-off days, which sometimes results in longer line-ups at the Borden Street entrance. During these times, staff will direct traffic in a queuing route that may extend beyond what is shown on the Yard and Garden Waste Drop-Off and Webcam.
Please consider planning your drop-off during slower times such as late-morning and early-afternoon to avoid longer wait times.

Reminder: Please set carts out by 7 a.m. Our collection routes changed on March 28 to maximize efficiency. If your collection day stayed the same, you may not have noticed, but these routes could result in our crews arriving earlier than before, and we don't want you to miss a collection day! Missed collections: we are tracking missed collections (please email greenergarbage@saanich.ca) but we have limited capacity to return for carts that were not placed out by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
