What do you base the annual cart fee on?

• The size of carts you select.
• The ongoing disposal and processing costs. 

Who owns the carts?

Saanich owns them. We assign carts to your property by serial number and an electronic tag. 

What do I do with my carts if I move?

Leave them.  If you move, don’t take the carts with you. The carts are assigned to your current residence.

I’ve recently moved to Saanich. Can I exchange my carts?

As a new property owner, you have a free, three-month cart exchange period. This gives you time to figure out the size of carts you need.
